In the case of applications involving extremely aggressive media, it is essential in pressure measurement to select the right quality and material for the measuring cell. When metal materials reach their limits of use through corrosion and leakage of the diaphragm, a chemically resistant, wear-free membrane in oxide ceramic may represent a good alternative. In addition, a very high degree of process reliability and plant availability is guaranteed by an integrated detection system for diaphragm rupture.
